Supervisions for Senior Care Staff

This half day course is ideal for care staff who are undertaking the role of supervising others such as Team Leaders and Shift Leaders, but equally is the ideal refresher for other managers in care and support roles.

Course Length. 2-3 hours

Introduction

This course considers the key management skills of effective supervisors:  Technical, Human, Conceptual, Diagnostical and Political.  It considers how, with effective training, a supervisor can build good relationships that achieve organisational goals, but equally considers how the opposite could be achieved!  With practical, real world scenarios and group activities, this course enables staff to critique good and poor management styles amongst others and draw their own conclusions as to the styles they and others prefer.
